柬埔寨柴桢省查处2处涉网络诈骗场所 抓获19名越南籍人员
8月18日，柬埔寨柴桢省执法部门在巴域市巴域中村查处2处涉嫌网络诈骗场所，抓获19名越南籍涉案人员，并查获电脑、手机、护照等相关物品。执法部门将有关人员及物品移交柴桢省警察局处理，并临时查封2处场所。

Cambodia Svay Rieng Authorities Inspect 2 Suspected Online Scam Sites, Detain 19 Vietnamese Nationals
On August 18, law enforcement authorities in Cambodia’s Svay Rieng Province inspected 2 sites suspected of involvement in online scams in Bavet Kandal Village, Bavet City, and detained 19 Vietnamese nationals suspected of involvement. Authorities seized computers, mobile phones, passports and other related items, transferred the individuals and seized items to the Svay Rieng Provincial Police, and temporarily sealed the 2 sites.

柬埔寨1年关闭605处涉诈场所
2025年7月至2026年7月31日期间，柬埔寨执法部门对全国范围内751处涉嫌网络诈骗活动地点开展调查和执法行动，依法查封关闭605处场所。
柬埔寨有关部门还对195家持牌赌场开展检查。因涉嫌参与网络诈骗活动，执法部门依法吊销20家赌场的经营许可证，并暂停29家赌场的经营许可证。此外，还有23家赌场许可证到期后停止经营。
行动期间，柬埔寨执法部门对来自38个国家的21666名外国人员依法办理遣返手续。其中，中国、越南、巴基斯坦、印度尼西亚、孟加拉国和印度籍人员数量占比最大。同时，执法部门共向法院移送388起刑事案件，涉及4147名犯罪嫌疑人，来自27个不同国家，包括犯罪活动的主要人员及其同伙。

Cambodia Shuts Down 605 Scam-Related Sites
From July 2025 to July 31, 2026, Cambodian law enforcement authorities investigated and carried out operations at 751 locations nationwide suspected of being involved in online scam activities, and sealed and shut down 605 of them in accordance with the law.
Relevant Cambodian authorities also inspected 195 licensed casinos. Due to their suspected involvement in online scam activities, law enforcement authorities revoked the operating licences of 20 casinos and suspended the licences of another 29. In addition, 23 casinos ceased operations after their licences expired.
During the operation, Cambodian law enforcement authorities processed the deportation and repatriation of 21,666 foreign nationals from 38 countries in accordance with the law. Among them, Chinese, Vietnamese, Pakistani, Indonesian, Bangladeshi and Indian nationals accounted for the largest groups. Meanwhile, law enforcement authorities referred 388 criminal cases involving 4,147 suspects to the courts. The suspects, who came from 27 countries, included alleged ringleaders of criminal activities and their accomplices.

7月13日至8月17日，香港海关针对不法分子企图利用香港作为中转站，从东南亚贩运大麻至欧洲、非洲地区，开展代号“火网”的反跨国贩毒执法行动。行动共抓获10人，查获约240公斤疑似大麻花毒品，市值约5600万港元（折合约718万美元）。
海关重点查验了由东南亚抵港的过境行李，发现涉案行李塞满多包高密度物品。海关随即根据行李资料抓获9男1女，年龄介于18至57岁。

Hong Kong Customs Seize 240kg of Cannabis Flower Worth 56 Million HKD
From July 13 to August 17, Hong Kong Customs launched an anti-transnational drug trafficking operation codenamed "Fire Net" against criminals attempting to use Hong Kong as a transit hub to traffic cannabis from Southeast Asia to Europe and Africa. A total of 10 people were arrested during the operation, with about 240 kilograms of suspected cannabis flower seized, valued at approximately 56 million HKD (approximately 7.18 million USD).
Customs focused on inspecting transit luggage arriving from Southeast Asia and found that the luggage involved contained multiple packages of high-density items. Customs immediately conducted an investigation based on luggage information, arresting nine men and one woman, aged between 18 and 57.

Laos Hands Over Fifth Group of Thai Nationals Arrested in ST VEGUS Case
On August 18, a special task force under the Lao Ministry of Public Security handed over the fifth group of Thai nationals arrested in connection with the ST VEGUS case to Thai authorities at the First Lao–Thai Friendship Bridge border checkpoint. The group comprised 42 people, including 16 women, who were suspected of involvement in cybercrime and online gambling.

7月23日至8月7日，老挝万象市占塔布里县警方联合相关部门，先后清查该县会洪村一处旅馆和一处公寓，捣毁两处网络诈骗窝点，抓获84名中国籍犯罪嫌疑人，其中女性3人。

Lao Police Arrest 84 Chinese Nationals in Raids on 2 Online Scam Operations in Vientiane
Between July 23 and August 7, police in Chanthabouly District, Vientiane, working with other relevant authorities, raided a guesthouse and an apartment in Houay Hong Village. The operations dismantled 2 suspected online scam operations and led to the arrest of 84 Chinese nationals, including 3 women.
Police seized 85 laptops, 983 mobile phones, 6 computer monitors, 31 passports, 56 Chinese ID cards, 2 safes, an electric vehicle and an electric three-wheeler.

缅甸拆除妙瓦底电诈园区 抓获777名嫌疑人
8月17日，缅甸克伦邦妙瓦底镇开展安全行动，共抓获777名涉嫌非法网络诈骗和赌博活动的人员，同时缴获大量作案设备，包括85台电脑、183部手机及1台星链设备等。
8月12日至17日，相关部门先后拆除了现场周边的8栋涉案非法建筑。8月17日下午，缅甸军方又在上述地点东南约4000米处，查获6栋用于网络诈骗和网络赌博活动的建筑，以及2个大型水箱。

Myanmar Demolishes Scam Hubs in Myawady, Arrests 777 Suspects
On August 17, a total of 777 individuals involved in illegal online scam and gambling operations were arrested along with a large quantity of equipment during a security operation in Myawady Township, Kayin State. The seized equipment included 85 computers, 183 mobile phones and 1 Starlink device.
Between August 12 and 17, relevant authorities successively demolished 8 illegal buildings linked to the case at the site of the arrests. On the afternoon of August 17, Tatmadaw columns, operating about 4,000 meters southeast of that location, seized an additional 6 buildings used for online fraud and online gambling activities, along with 2 large water tanks.

泰国执法部门捣毁非法户籍登记办证网络 抓获7人
8月18日，泰国内政部门联合警方在曼谷丁登区搜查7处目标，抓获7名涉嫌违规户籍登记及办证人员，包括3名政府工作人员。调查发现，当地5726套住房中至少有1366名5至15岁外籍儿童受到异常登记，部分人员涉嫌使用预签文件、伪造户主签名等材料，为外籍人员办理非泰籍人员身份证。警方称，此类证件可用于开立银行账户，存在遭受“骡子账户”、诈骗及跨国犯罪网络滥用风险。

Thai Authorities Bust Illegal Household Registration and ID Card Network, Arrest 7
On August 18, Thailand's Ministry of Interior and police searched seven locations in Bangkok's Din Daeng district and arrested seven people suspected of involvement in an illegal household registration and ID card scheme, including three government officials. An inspection of 5,726 flats found at least 1,366 foreign children aged between 5 and 15 abnormally registered at addresses. Some suspects allegedly used pre-signed documents and forged homeowners' signatures to obtain identification cards for non-Thai nationals. Authorities said such IDs could be used to open bank accounts and potentially exploited by mule-account, scam or transnational crime networks.

越南广义省警方破获烟草走私案
近期，越南广义省警方发现1批走私香烟。案发时，犯罪嫌疑人正驾驶卡车行驶于Doc Soi至Dung Quat路段，车上载有外国生产的各类烟草2160包。在犯罪嫌疑人位于Th? Phong乡Th? Tay村的住所及经营的杂货店内，警方又发现烟草共48330包。涉案烟草总值超过20亿越南盾（折合约7.6万美元）。

Vietnam Quang Ngai Province Police Bust Tobacco Smuggling Case
Recently, police in Quang Ngai Province, Vietnam, uncovered a batch of smuggled cigarettes. At the time of the incident, the suspect was driving a truck along the Doc Soi to Dung Quat route, carrying 2,160 packs of foreign-produced cigarettes. At the suspect’s residence and grocery store in Th? Tay village, Th? Phong commune, police discovered an additional 48,330 packs of tobacco. The total value of the seized tobacco exceeded 2 billion VND (approximately 76,000 USD).
