柬埔寨警方16天连破6宗机场运毒案 查获逾164公斤毒品
9月2日至17日，柬埔寨海关在德崇国际机场与暹粒吴哥国际机场连续破获6起毒品走私案件，累计查获毒品及疑似毒品逾164公斤。
9月17日，海关人员联合移民警察，在暹粒吴哥国际机场对1名拟离境外籍旅客开展查验，从其行李箱内查获44包干大麻，净重22公斤。
在此之前，德崇国际机场在9月2日至9日的8天内连续侦破5起案件，共缴获大麻约135.46公斤、海洛因6.79公斤、冰毒0.186公斤，7名外籍旅客涉案。

Cambodian Police Seize Over 164 Kilograms of Drugs in 6 Airport Drug-smuggling Cases Within 16 Days
From 2 to 17 September, Cambodian Customs uncovered 6 drug smuggling cases at Dekcho Airport and Siem Reap Angkor International Airport, seizing more than 164 kilograms of drugs and suspected drugs in total.
The latest case took place on 17 September. Customs officers, together with immigration police, inspected a foreign passenger preparing to depart at Siem Reap Angkor International Airport and found 44 packs of dried cannabis weighing 22 kilograms net in the passenger’s suitcase.
Prior to this, 5 successive cases were cracked at Techo International Airport within 8 days from 2 to 9 September. Around 135.46 kilograms of cannabis, 6.79 kilograms of heroin and 0.186 kilograms of methamphetamine were seized, with 7 foreign passengers involved.

Svay Rieng Police Bust Online Scam Compound in Bavet City, Arrest 14 Suspects
On September 22, police in Cambodia's Svay Rieng Province carried out a raid in Bavet City, busting a villa compound suspected of being used for online scams and arresting 14 suspects, including six Vietnamese women. The compound, located in Bavet Commune, was suspected of being used to commit technology-based fraud. Police confiscated various pieces of evidence on site, including all-in-one desktop computers, computer CPUs, monitors, and mobile phones.

Cambodian Police Collaborate With US FBI to Investigate 12 Cases Dismantle 50 Online Scam Dens
On Sep 22, Touch Sokha, deputy spokesperson of the Ministry of Interior, Kingdom of Cambodia, announced that Cambodian National Police and the US FBI have jointly investigated 12 criminal cases and dismantled 50 online scam dens across 7 provinces, based on the MoUs signed in 2016 and 2019. The two sides also cooperated in verifying clues related to cryptocurrency and technology fraud.

北海警方捣毁虚拟货币投资诈骗犯罪团伙 抓获6人
近日，北海市公安局成功打掉一个以“投资虚拟货币”为名义进行诈骗的团伙，抓获犯罪嫌疑人6人,查扣涉案笔记本电脑6台。
经查，该犯罪团伙安排其“业务员”通过交友平台物色有意向“炒币”的人群，业务员通过把自己包装成炒币成功人士吸引受害人，然后告知受害人新发行的虚拟货币会爆涨，从而吸引受害人投资购买该虚拟货币。受害人会因为投资杠杆被强制持平等原因导致投资的钱被平台吃掉，该类虚拟货币一般只能购买不能卖出。

Beihai Police Smash a Virtual-Currency Investment Fraud Gang and Arrest 6 Suspects
Recently, the Beihai Public Security Bureau cracked down on a criminal gang that committed fraud under the lure of virtual currency investment. Beihai police arrested 6 gang members and seized 6 laptops involved in the case.
The investigation showed that the gang arranged its sales staff to look for virtual currency investors on social platforms. The staff disguised themselves as experienced and profitable virtual currency traders to attract potential victims. They claimed that a newly released virtual currency would soar in price and induced users to invest in it. The platform occupied all investors’ funds by forcing position retention through investment leverage. This kind of virtual currency only supported buying behaviors and prohibited selling operations.

Office of China's National Narcotics Control Commission Issues Warning on Medetomidine and Tartaric Acid Diversion for Illicit Drug Production
On September 22, the Office of the National Narcotics Control Commission issued an alert warning that medetomidine and tartaric acid could be diverted for use in illicit drug production and enter illegal channels, and listed their English names, CAS registry numbers and customs commodity codes. The office urged relevant companies and individuals to strengthen their legal awareness and comply with domestic and foreign laws and regulations when trading or exporting the chemicals.

On September 20, a combined team consisting of the Anti-Drug Police Force searched by Mae Sai Creek in Maka Hokham Ward, Tachileik, and seized 2.4 million stimulant tablets (worth 960 million MMK, approximately 457,000 USD) and 6 mobile phones, apprehending 5 suspects aged 36, 29, 26, 19 and 18.

On September 18, a combined team consisting of the Anti-Drug Police Force stopped a car near Pin Lin (East) Village, Pyin Oo Lwin Township, and seized 6.2 million stimulant tablets (worth 9.3 billion MMK, approximately 4.43 million USD) and 1 mobile phone, apprehending a 54-year-old suspect.

泰国华富里府破获大宗贩毒案 查获冰毒900公斤
9月22日，泰国第191边防警察部队缉毒部门联合华富里府警方，在华富里府破获1起跨境贩毒案件，截获1辆涉案丰田面包车，当场抓获 1 名 41 岁男性嫌疑人。
执法人员在车内查获18袋黑色胶带封装的冰毒，共计900小袋，总重约900公斤，涉案价值约2.7亿泰铢（折合约812.7万美元）。
经查，该贩毒团伙将冰毒从泰国东部边境走私入境后，藏匿于华富里府一处无门牌号房屋内，计划分销至泰国中部及曼谷周边地区。

Major Drug Trafficking Case Busted in Lopburi, Thailand 900 kg of Methamphetamine Seized
On 22 September, the Narcotics Unit of the 191st Border Police Division of Thailand, jointly with Lopburi Provincial Police, cracked a cross-border drug trafficking case in Lopburi Province. A suspect Toyota commuter van was intercepted and a 41-year-old male suspect was apprehended on the scene.
Law enforcement officers seized 18 packs of methamphetamine sealed with black adhesive tape inside the vehicle, amounting to 900 small bags with a total weight of approximately 900 kilograms. The total amount of the case is estimated at 270 million Thai baht（approximately 8.127 million USD).
Investigation shows that the drug trafficking ring smuggled methamphetamine into Thailand via the eastern border, stashed the narcotics in an unnumbered residential property in Lopburi, and planned to distribute them to central Thailand and the surrounding areas of Bangkok.

泰国警方通报，9月21日下午在南邦府境内清莱-帕尧高速公路段破获1起陆路贩毒案。

3.2 Million Methamphetamine Tablets Seized After Drug Transport Pickup Overturns in Lampang, Thailand
Thai police announced that they had cracked an overland drug trafficking case on the Chiang Rai–Phayao Highway in Lampang Province on the afternoon of 21 September.
According to the report, a drug trafficking ring was transporting methamphetamine tablets by road from Chiang Rai Province to central Thailand. The targeted white Mitsubishi pickup truck lost control and overturned when passing through Wang Nuea District. Law enforcement officers seized approximately 3.2 million methamphetamine tablets concealed in 15 fruit packaging boxes inside the vehicle, and apprehended the 35-year-old male driver on the spot.

越南海防市警方摧毁为诈骗团伙供卡线路
近期，海防市警方发现，辖区有人通过Facebook、Telegram非法买卖他人移动通信用户信息，转售给诈骗人员。8月初，警方检查嘉禄公社1家SIM卡店时锁定买家，随后在兴安省1处住宅查获正在运行的GSM设备（可插32张他人已激活的SIM卡）。据调查，嫌疑人在网上学会利用GSM设备提供电话服务牟利，2026年3月购入GSM网关和废弃SIM卡，4月起搭建网站, 并以每分钟1400至1800越南盾提供任意号码外呼，来电显示为设备所插, 他人SIM卡号码；5月中旬其从录音中得知客户用于诈骗，仍继续运营。8月6日，诈骗人员租用该系统假冒警察致电1名1950年出生的女性，谎称其涉毒品、洗钱案，骗走6000万越南盾（约2300美元）。

Vietnam Hai Phong City Police Dismantle SIM Supply Ring for Fraud Gangs
Recently, the Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention Division of the Hai Phong City Police found that individuals in the city were illegally trading others' mobile telecom subscriber information through Facebook and Telegram and reselling it to fraudsters. In early August, police inspected a SIM card shop in Gia Loc Commune to identify the buyer, and later seized a running GSM device (capable of holding 32 activated SIM cards registered to others) at a residence in Hung Yen Province. According to the investigation, the suspects learned online how to profit by providing phone services via GSM equipment, purchased a GSM gateway and waste SIM cards in March 2026, and from April built a website offering outbound calls to any number at 1,400 to 1,800 VND per minute, with the caller ID showing the SIM card numbers inserted in the device. In mid-May, after learning from recordings that clients were using the system for fraud, they continued operating. On August 6, fraudsters rented the system and, posing as police, called a woman born in 1950, falsely claiming she was involved in a drug and money laundering case, and defrauded her of 60 million VND (approximately 2,300 USD).

越南老街省警方破获非法入境案 抓获4名犯罪嫌疑人
9月22日，老街省警方表示，已对1起非法入境越南案件立案侦查，抓获4名犯罪嫌疑人。
经调查，犯罪嫌疑人向Telegram、微信等社交平台上的中介团伙支付高额费用，以设法非法入境越南，随后再返回中国。犯罪嫌疑人从西哈努克市出发，经金边、西宁、胡志明市、河内，最终抵达老街。通过老街国际口岸的隔离区前往签证办理处，企图更换为落地签证使非法入境信息合法化。

Vietnam’s Lao Cai Province Police Bust Illegal Border Crossing Case, Arrest 4 Suspects
On September 22, police in Lao Cai Province announced that they had opened an investigation into an illegal entry into Vietnam and arrested 4 suspects.
Investigations revealed that the suspects paid hefty fees to intermediary groups on social media platforms such as Telegram and WeChat, in an attempt to illegally enter Vietnam and then return to China. The suspects traveled from Sihanoukville, passing through Phnom Penh, Tay Ninh, Ho Chi Minh City, and Hanoi, finally arriving in Lao Cai. They attempted to enter the visa processing office through the isolation area of the Lao Cai International Border Gate in order to convert to a visa on arrival and legalize their illegal entry records.

马来西亚警方侦破多起跨境大麻走私案

Malaysian Police Bust Multiple Cross-Border Cannabis Smuggling Operations
August 28th to September 21st, Selangor police said they had carried out 10 raids at Kuala Lumpur International Airport and around Sepang between August 28 and September 21, disrupting 9 drug trafficking syndicates. Police arrested 12 suspects and seized 418 kg of cannabis worth about 33.4 million MYR (approximately 8.2 million USD). Among the suspects, 11 were foreign nationals from East Asia, South America and Europe, all of whom had entered Malaysia on social visit passes. Investigations found that the syndicates recruited foreign nationals as drug mules with travel packages, job opportunities and payments of up to 6,000 MYR (approximately 1,470 USD). After arriving in Malaysia, the couriers collected luggage containing the drugs at designated hotel lobbies before transporting it to Europe. A Malaysian man was also suspected of acting as a runner responsible for supplying drugs to the drug mules.
