China-Laos Railway Security Work Coordination Meeting Held in Vientiane, Laos10月9日，老挝公共工程与交通运输部铁路司主办的中老铁路安保工作协调会在万象举行。老挝国防部作战局、公安部铁路警察局、老中铁路有限公司及铁路途经的万象、琅勃拉邦、乌多姆赛和南塔四省份铁路运营监管站等参会。澜湄执法安全合作中心翁赛副秘书长现场参会，中心和昆明铁路公安局相关人员线上参会。On October 9, a coordination meeting on Laos-China railway security work, hosted by the Department of Railways of the Lao Ministry of Public Works and Transport, was held in Vientiane. Participants included the Operations Bureau of the Lao Ministry of National Defense, the Railway Police Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security, the Laos-China Railway Co., Ltd., and the railway operation supervision stations of the four provinces along the route—Vientiane,Luang Prabang, Oudomxay and Luang Namtha. Deputy Secretary General VongXay of the Lancang-Mekong Integrated Law Enforcement and Security Cooperation Center (LMLECC) attended the meeting in person, and relevant personnel of the LMLECC and the Kunming Railway Public Security Bureau attended online.

会议交流2021-2025年中老铁路老方段安保工作，涵盖铁路治安防控、安全维护、货运安全检查及违禁品查堵等。翁赛副秘书长表示，中心将发挥平台作用，依托中老铁路安保合作机制，加强协调和培训援助，推动执法合作走深走实。The meeting reviewed security work on the Lao section of the China-Laos Railway from 2021 to 2025, including public security and crime prevention, security maintenance, freight security checks and the interception of prohibited items. DSG VongXay stated that the Center will serve as a platform to strengthen coordination, training and assistance under the China-Laos Railway security cooperation mechanism and promote more concrete law enforcement cooperation.各方围绕涉铁违法犯罪整治、铁路安保执法合作等达成共识，表示将以会议为契机，依托既有机制，加强沟通、深化合作，提升沿线安全维护效能，共同应对跨境安全风险，造福两国人民。All parties reached consensus on combating railway-related illegal and criminal activities and on railway security law enforcement cooperation. It was agreed that the parties will take this meeting as an opportunity to build on existing mechanisms, strengthen communication, deepen cooperation, enhance security along the route, jointly respond to cross-border security risks, and benefit the people of both countries.
