中国科学院西双版纳热带植物园（以下简称“版纳植物园”）由我国著名植物学家蔡希陶先生于1959年创建，隶属中国科学院，是集科学研究、物种保存和科普教育为一体的综合性研究机构，在云南省省会昆明市设有分部。
Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden, Chinese Academy of Sciences (XTBG), located in the South of Yunnan Province,?was founded by Mr. Cai Xitao in 1959. XTBG is a comprehensive research institution integrating scientific research, species preservation,?and popularization of science education. In addition to the main garden, there is?a subsidiary branch in Kunming, the capital of Yunnan Province.
版纳植物园立足中国热带，面向南亚东南亚国家和地区，辐射全球热带区域，聚焦热带生物多样性保护和植物资源可持续利用，建成热带珍稀濒危植物迁地保护、扩繁和野外回归示范基地，热带生物多样性保护与生态学研究高地，国家热带战略性植物资源保存与研发中心，以及融合科普宣教与生态文明建设的环境教育前沿阵地，为国家生态安全、生态文明、资源可持续利用、美丽乡村和绿色“一带一路”发展提供科技支撑。目前正积极推进西双版纳热带国家植物园创建工作。
Located in the tropical region of China, XTBG focuses on biodiversity conservation and sustainable use of plant resources in South Asia and Southeast Asia. It not only addresses ecological protection in tropical areas around the world but also places special emphasis on the relocation, propagation, and reintroduction of rare and endangered plants. XTBG has become a significant base for tropical biodiversity and ecology research and is currently advancing the development of the Xishuangbanna Tropical National Botanical Garden.
版纳植物园参与共建植物多样性与特色经济作物全国重点实验室，现有2个云南省重点实验室、3个国际联合实验室、1个云南省工程技术研究中心、1个省级陆稻种质资源库、2个国家级野外台站、1个省级野外台站以及标本馆等科研平台；是中国科学院东南亚生物多样性研究中心、中国植物园联合保护计划和龙脑香科植物全球保护联盟的挂靠单位，并牵头建设了中国迁地保护植物大数据平台。主要学科植物学和生态学均为全球ESI高引学科，近5年发表国际期刊论文和高引论文数量位居世界植物园前列。现设有生态学专业一级学科博士、硕士研究生培养点，植物学专业二级学科博士、硕士研究生培养点，并设有生物学专业一级学科博士后流动站。
XTBG co-established a national key laboratory focusing on plant diversity and special economic crops. It possesses multiple provincial and international research platforms, including 2 Yunnan Provincial Key Laboratories and 3 International Joint Laboratories, among others. XTBG is a core unit for several significant biodiversity conservation programs and has established a big data platform for the conservation of relocated plants in China. The primary disciplines are botany and ecology, both of which rank highly in the Essential Science Indicators (ESI). Currently, it offers doctoral and master training programs in ecology and botany, as well as postdoctoral research stations in biology and ecology.
版纳植物园与50多个国家（地区、国际组织）有着广泛的交流与合作，其国际影响不断扩大，已成为我国最重要的热带植物科学研究基地、热带植物种质资源保存库和科学知识传播中心。
XTBG has extensive cooperation with more than 50 countries, and its international influence is constantly expanding, and it has become the most important base for scientific research on tropical plants, a repository for the conservation of tropical plant germplasm resources,?and a center for the dissemination of scientific knowledge in China.

WHO CAN APPLY
1. 在国内外知名大学、科研院所即将毕业的博士研究生或获博士学位未满3年人员（第二站博士后无此限制），年龄一般应在35周岁以下，品学兼优，身体健康。
2. 具有良好的政治思想素质和思想道德水平，遵纪守法，无不良记录；有强烈的事业心和责任心，对科研有浓厚兴趣并具备独立从事科研工作的能力。
3. 具有生物学、生态学及相关专业知识背景，英语水平好。
1.?Major in Ecology, Biology or related fields. The candidate should be under the age of 35.
2. First-time postdocs are required to be within 3?years of doctoral graduation; second-time postdocs and special research assistants are not restricted in this way;
3. The candidate should abide by the PRC laws and have no criminal records; have a strong sense of professionalism and responsibility, a strong interest in scientific research and the ability in scientific research independently.
4. Proficient in English.

BENEFITS
1．版纳植物园为每位博士后研究人员提供20万元科研经费补贴，工资按照国家、中国科学院和版纳植物园有关政策执行税前20-30万元/年的协议工资，参加专业技术职称评审，享受住房公积金及社会保险等相关福利待遇。根据工作业绩可获得相应科研奖励。
2．支持申请国家、中国科学院、云南省各类科研项目、人才计划和优秀成果奖励（与版纳植物园支持经费可叠加）。
3．优秀博士后期满出站后，优先参加版纳植物园编制岗位竞聘并享受人才引进政策。
1.?XTBG will provide a research start-up fund 200,000 RMB to each postdoc. The annual salary of post-doctoral fellow is 200,000 RMB to 300,000 RMB.
2.?XTBG will support and assist in the declaration of various programs in China, Chinese Academy of Sciences and Yunnan Province. After being selected,?the funding can be stacked with XTBG support funding.
3.?Excellent post-doctoral fellows will have priority to get XTBG faculty position with competitive salary after they pass the final assessment.

（1）个人简历（包括学习和工作经历、已经发表的科研论文及其他必要的佐证材料、身份证复印件、联系方式等）；
（2）研究工作计划书；
（3）两位本领域同行专家推荐信，其中一位须为申请人的博士生导师。
2.?经合作导师同意后，参加面试。具体请详询人事处。

1.?Applicants are required to first contact the co-supervisors and submit the following materials to determine the research work plan.
(1)?CV including contact details for two referees
(2)?PDFs of up to five representative publications
(3)?Scanned copy of passport information page
(4)?Scanned copy of PhD certificate
(5)?Research proposal (developed with the co-supervisors)
(6)?Recommendation letters provided by two referees holding the title of professor, one of whom should be the main PhD supervisor of the applicant.
2.?After the application is approved by cooperating professor, the applicant should join a recruitment interview.
