LMLECC Attends International Seminar on Counter-Terrorism 2026

On August 4, 2026, the International Seminar on Counter-Terrorism 2026 was held in Yili, Xinjiang, China. Mr. Ly Davuth, Deputy Secretary-General of LMLECC, was invited to attend and deliver a speech at the Seminar.
李大吴副秘书长表示,国际反恐形势复杂严峻,澜湄执法合作中心愿与各方携手,贯彻落实全球安全倡议和全球治理倡议,不断深化情报共享、联合行动和应急响应,加强反恐能力建设,推动区域共同发展,共同应对恐怖主义威胁和挑战。
Mr. Ly Davuth stated that the international counter-terrorism landscape remains complex and severe. The LMLECC stands ready to work hand-in-hand with all parties to implement the Global Security Initiative and the Global Governance Initiative, and continuously deepen intelligence sharing, joint operations, and emergency response. He also noted the commitment to enhancing counter-terrorism capacity building, promoting regional common development, and addressing the threats and challenges posed by terrorism together.
研讨会由新疆维吾尔自治区政府外办、中国社会科学院中国边疆研究所、世界穆斯林社区理事会联合举办,并获得外交部、新疆维吾尔自治区政府支持。来自阿联酋、俄罗斯、非盟、澜湄执法合作中心等24个国家和地区组织的代表出席。
The seminar was co-hosted by the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, the Institute of Chinese Borderland Studies of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and the World Council of Muslim Communities. It received support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the People's Government of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Representatives from 24 countries and regional organizations, including the United Arab Emirates, Russia, the African Union, and the LMLECC, attended the event.
